School is out for the sum mer\, and that means it's time for Meet Up &\; Eat Up!
Carrollton Public Schools is proud to once again participate in Michigan's Meet Up & amp\; Eat Up summer meal program\, providing free\, nutritious meals to ch ildren throughout the summer months. The program helps ensure that childre n continue to have access to healthy meals while school is not in session.
Beginning June 10th\, free lunch is available Monday through Friday from 11:45 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Hanchett Park for children ages 1–18\, and up to age 26 for individuals with disabilities. On days the weather is uncooperative\, meals will be served at Carrollton Middle School instead of Hanchett park\, with notification of the change being posted on the dis trict’s social media. All sites will be closed during the week prior to July 4.
The free meals served through Meet Up &\; Eat Up follow U SDA nutrition guidelines\, helping children stay healthy\, active\, and fu eled for summer fun. In addition to enjoying a nutritious meal\, families visiting Hanchett Park can look forward to special activities and communit y guests throughout the summer.
