As we continue planning ahead for the 2026–2027 school year--while r esponding to ongoing space and enrollment challenges\, we will hold parent focus groups for families of rising 1st and 2nd grade students on the dat es/times below.
These conversations are intended to help inform plan ning and ensure Lyons Farm continues thinking carefully and proactively ab out student experience\, support\, communication\, and learning environmen ts as we prepare for next school year.
Focus Group Dates &\; Time s:
Tuesday\, June 2
• 9:00–9:45AM
• 5:30–6:15PM
Thursday\, June 4
• 9:00 –9:45AM

As part of these conversations\, f amilies will have an opportunity to experience a classroom space staged to represent \;one of the shared classroom environments. \; These sp aces would include two certified teachers supporting a shared learning env ironment \;within one instructional environment with a lower student t o teacher ratio than other classes within the same grade level. \;
These conversations are not intended to finalize decisions during the s essions\, but to ensure parent voice\, questions\, perspectives\, and cons iderations continue to help inform thoughtful planning moving forward.
The planning challenges connected to enrollment and space limitations a re real\, and we continue to actively work alongside leadership regarding longer-term expansion support and additional classroom space solutions.
At the same time\, our goal remains centered on protecting strong stud ent experiences\, meaningful instructional support\, and the overall learn ing environment for students and staff.

Calling all families of rising kindergartners! If you have a child starting kindergarten in fall 2026\, join us on Saturday\, Ju ne 6th to meet other families\, find out more about Lyons Farm\, and to ge t involved with the Lyons Farm PTA. Light snacks will be provided\, and si blings are welcome.
