 l has scheduled a digital PSAT for Wednesday\, October 21\, 2026\, for som
 e 9th\, all 10th\, and all 11th-grade students. Additionally\, the SAT wil
 l be offered at GOHS on Wednesday\, October 21\, 2026\, for some 12th-grad
 e students. The PSAT and SAT are college-readiness exams that showcase hig
 h school coursework content mastery. Many colleges and universities utiliz
 e scores from these exams (along with other factors) to determine college 
 readiness. They are designed to measure a student’s ability to understan
 d and process academic subjects and have proven to indicate collegiate suc
 cess. College-bound students are strongly suggested to take these tests si
 nce these scores can help determine merit-based scholarships\; many local 
 scholarships may also require score reporting.</p><p>The digital PSAT and 
 SAT take about 3 hours to complete and have two built-in calculators (<a t
 arget="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="https://www.desmos
 .com/testing/collegeboard/graphing" relative-link="">Desmos: Graphing Calc
 ulator</a> or <a target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="
 https://www.desmos.com/testing/collegeboard/scientific" relative-link="">S
 cientific Calculator</a>). GOHS will NOT provide calculators for the PSAT 
 or SAT\, though students may bring their own non-CAS (Computer Algebra Sys

 g></h5><p style="text-align: left">PSAT for 9th grade is completely option
 al. GOHS recommends taking the PSAT only if you are a high-achieving Geome
 try Honors student or taking Algebra 2/Precalculus. You must register for 
 the PSAT by paying $15 through School Cash by September 27\, 2026 at 11:59
