DESCRIPTION:A community-wide event and fundraiser for two $1\,000 SSAC Scho
 larships for seniors pursuing the Arts. Features student and local profess
 ional artwork\, as well as performances from Band\, Choir\, and Drama.\n\n
 Salida Schools Arts Council will hold its 11TH Annual Spring Collage Show 
 Fundraising Event on Friday\, April 24\, from 5 – 9 pm at Salida High Sc
 hool. The Spring Collage Concert is a community-wide event where students 
 in the Visual Arts\, Performing Arts\, and Industrial Arts programs displa
 y and sell their artwork and perform. New this year\, the spring Drama Pro
 duction will take place after the Collage Show with three one-act plays in
  the auditorium. This is the largest culminating art event of the year! \
 n\nSSAC will be asking for entry donations at the door since this is a sch
 olarship fundraising event. Students will be selling K-12 art card packs\,
  ceramic bowls\, Ceramic fridge magnets\, and mixed-media canvases with a 
 spring theme\, "Birds"\, by the HS Art II class\, for silent bidding. \n\
 nMany local professional artworks will also be on silent bid.  This year\
 , artists who have donated to our cause are Shelby Cox\, Brice Turnbull\, 
 Donna Wagle\, Michael Clark\, Leslie Jorgensen\, Stacy Follet\, Mark Rittm
 ann\, Tim Brown\, Heidi Craw\, Lex Johnson\, Dania Pettus\, Alison Manthey
 \, Laura Donavan\, Paulette Brodeur\, Kerstin Stock\, Four Winds Gallery a
 rtists: Linda Frances\, JoAnn Holst\, and Salida Arts Collective artists:

 r sale at different price points for everyone. \n\nThe money generated at
  the Spring Collage Concert goes towards  two $1000 scholarships for seni
 ors pursuing a major or minor in the Performing or Visual Arts at the univ
 ersity level. The high school’s National Art Honor Society will run the 
 event.  Please come and support the Performing and Visual Art students in
  the Salida School District. This is an art event you won’t want to miss
