  Nonviolent Crisis Intervention® or whose certification has expired beyon

  on early verbal intervention strategies to prevent and manage disruptive 
 behavior\, along with safe disengagement\, holding\, and transport techniq
 ues.<br><br>The CPI Nonviolent Crisis Intervention® Flex model includes u
 p to 4 hours of self‑paced online learning followed by 6 hours of in‑p
 erson\, instructor‑led skills practice and certification. This trauma‑
 informed approach emphasizes prevention\, safety\, and the responsible use
  of physical intervention. An annual 3‑hour Foundations Refresher is req
 uired to maintain certification.<br><br>Act 48 hours are awarded only for 
 sessions held at IU8 offices. Per CPI guidelines\, IU8 may train only scho
 ol district employees within Blair\, Bedford\, Cambria\, and Somerset coun

 \, 2027.<br><br>This course is intended for individuals who are new to Non
 violent Crisis Intervention® or whose certification has expired beyond th
 e date listed on their most recent Blue Card(tm). The training focuses on 
 early verbal intervention strategies to prevent and manage disruptive beha
 vior\, along with safe disengagement\, holding\, and transport techniques.
 <br><br>The CPI Nonviolent Crisis Intervention® Flex model includes up to
  4 hours of self‑paced online learning followed by 6 hours of in‑perso
 n\, instructor‑led skills practice and certification. This trauma‑info
 rmed approach emphasizes prevention\, safety\, and the responsible use of 
 physical intervention. An annual 3‑hour Foundations Refresher is require
 d to maintain certification.<br><br>Act 48 hours are awarded only for sess
 ions held at IU8 offices. Per CPI guidelines\, IU8 may train only school d
 istrict employees within Blair\, Bedford\, Cambria\, and Somerset counties
