The Worcester Special Education Parent Advisory Council (SEP AC)\, in collaboration with Caitlyn Bauske\, Worcester community member an d BCBA\, and Hearts and Hands Therapy Services\, invites parents and careg ivers to an informative and engaging training session focused on ABA (Appl ied Behavior Analysis)\, OT (Occupational Therapy)\, and ST (Speech Therap y).
The training will be held on Saturday\, May 2\, from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Doherty Memorial High School\, 299 Highland Street\, Worcester. Participants are asked to arrive by 8:50 AM.
This is the second yea r of this project. This year’s session will build on foundational inform ation shared previously and will focus on the specific needs of parents an d caregivers\, with the session guided by participant questions and concer ns.
Training breakdown:
ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis ) – 90 minutes
OT (Occupational Therapy) – 60 minutes
ST (Speech Therapy) – 60 minutes
15-minute break between sessions
Interpretation will be available in French\, Haitian Creole\, Portuguese\, Spanish\, and Vietnamese.
AB A providers\, including Success On The Spectrum Downtown Worcester\, ABA C enters of America\, Community Autism Services\, and Spectrum Solutions\, w ill be on site to share information about services and supports for famili es.
