These assessments are an important part of measuring your ch ild’s academic progress and the skills they have developed throughout th e school year.
To help your child perform their best\, please make s ure they get plenty of rest the night before each testing day\, eat a heal thy breakfast\, and arrive at school on time. School doors open at 8:45 a. m.\, and students are considered late if they arrive at 9:10 a.m. or later . Encouragement from home can also help students feel confident and prepar ed.
Students will also have the opportunity to earn an incentive for their efforts during testing.
To qualify:
Students should do their best< /span>
Demonstrate positive behavior
Maintain at least 90% attendance< /strong>
during the month of April.
Incentives will include an ice cream party as well as time to enjoy a game truck and bouncy house here at school.
We al so ask that you please speak with your child about demonstrating P.R.I.D.E . during testing and throughout the school day. P.R.I.D.E. means being Pre pared\, Respectful\, Invested\, Determined\, and Engaged.
