The next SAP meeting for LHS is scheduled for Friday\, 5. 1.26 (End of 1st Period) via Google Meet Video Conference format.
The SAP team will review the list of LHS students who have been sub mitted through SAP Referral Process and create Action Steps for providing assistance and review earlier submissions for progress.
The Student Assistance Program (SAP) supports students experiencing barri ers to success.
LHS SAP is supported by a Student Assistance Team (S AT)\, which consists of specially trained teachers\, school counselors\, a dministrators\, and other school personnel. The SAT has scheduled review m eetings twice a month
The SAP goal is to work with students and care givers to offer recommendations\, interventions\, and supports to the stud ent. Some of these services are school-based\, while other services recomm ended by the team are out-of-school community-based resources. After revie wing a referral\, the team will partner with student/caregiver on planning supports.
The team gathers information concerning the student in or der to make the most appropriate referral for services. All information ga thered/related to the student's involvement is confidential to the SAT unl ess there are concerns about the child’s or other’s safety. Data colle cted may include classroom performance\, attendance data\, grades\, discip linary data\, staff/student rating forms\, and caregiver feedback.
