Participants will take a dee p dive into assessment in 3 dimensions by surfacing what STEELS aligned as sessments can look like\, evaluating 3 dimensional assessment questions an d looking at student work samples in order to drive instruction. Open to K -12 educators\, administrators\, academic coaches\, STEM coordinators and curriculum coordinators\, this day will give participants a clear idea of how approaches to teaching and learning science are shifting\, as well as develop an appreciation for the shifts in assessment it will bring to the classroom. We will meet for 3 days throughout the school year: October 14\ , December 16 and February 16. Lunch will be provided. Please bring a lapt op and/or tablet to access online resources.
